Welcome to Benjamin Gitterman Photography. When I was a child, I would spend most of my time watching and studying strangers. Yes, I was that kid. Naturally this behavior puzzled my family. My parents told me that I always had an insatiable curiosity for people. Luckily they found a reasonable outlet for my strange behavior the first time I picked up my grandfather's camera. They decided that if I was going to sit around staring at people I might as well make something of it. Wrapped up in the heaviest box I had ever put my hands on, was the greatest birthday present of all time, my first camera.
